Keep America Beautiful is working to make people aware that “Graffiti Hurts.”
How does graffiti hurt our community and our environment?
If we don’t stop graffiti in our neighborhoods, what might eventually happen to our citizens and communities?
Have you seen graffiti in Wayne County? If so, where?
Do you think that putting an end to graffiti will help put a stop to gangs?
What other comments or concerns do you have regarding graffiti?
Phi Theta Kappa is sponsoring an art contest through the public schools based on “Keep America Beautiful’s” campaign called “Graffiti Hurts.” Visit http://www.graffitihurts.org/ for more information.

WCC Cafeteria Survey - Spill your beans!
A simple and annonymous survey has been placed on the WCC web site in the efforts to gain some information on how you use the WCC Cafeteria. And if you don’t use it you can also tell why in the survey. Take a moment to fill out the survey, your voice will be heard.

Right To Smoke - Right To Breath
A frequent topic in the WCC Online Suggestion box is the issue of non-smokers having to walk through second hand smoke as they enter certain buildings on campus. The most common comments are that the college should designate some place other than entrances for smoking.
You can voice your opinion on this matter here. Provide a suggestion on where you think the designated smoking areas should be.
New Search Engine on WCC - Have you tried it yet?

You spoke and we listened. The WCC search engine has been completely revamped, and the difference has been noticed. Our new search client is actually an appliance, a server blade if you will. WCC has installed a Google Mini search appliance and you can give it a try.
Two big differences you’ll notice immediately are more accurate results and forced results called KeyMatch. This is where you would typically see Sponsored Results when doing a search at Google.com.
Try it. Type in the word nursing on our site and you’ll see KeyMatch results show up at the top of the page. You can also suggest keywords or keyphrases that you’d like to see a KeyMatch result show up for. Just provide us with the keyword or keyphrase and the link it should go to.
If you stopped using the WCC search engine because of poor results, please give it a spin again to see the difference.
Let the WCC Blog Underground know how your test drive and usage worked for you.
You, your mp3 player, and your class lecture….

Tell us about your mp3 use. What type of mp3 player do you have - iPod? How often do you use it? Would you use it to listen to a class lecture if you didn’t have to listen to the professor in person? If so, how do you see this as being beneficial to you?
